Note: While stir-frying is a common technique for vegetables, it’s less typical for fruits like pears. This recipe offers a unique twist on traditional stir-frying. The key to success is using pears that hold their shape well when cooked, such as Bosc or Anjou.

 Materials

 Ingredients:

 2 large Bosc or Anjou pears, cored and thinly sliced

 1 tablespoon olive oil

 1/4 cup chopped walnuts

 2 tablespoons honey

 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar

 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

 Pinch of ground nutmeg

 Salt and pepper to taste

 Production Steps

1. Preparation:

   Slice the pears thinly and evenly.

   Chop the walnuts into smaller pieces.

2. Stir-Frying:

   Heat the olive oil in a large skillet or wok over medium heat.

   Add the pear slices and stir-fry for about 3-4 minutes, or until they begin to soften but still retain their shape.

   Add the chopped walnuts and stir-fry for an additional minute.

3. Sauce and Finishing:

   Stir in the honey, balsamic vinegar, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Cook for about 30 seconds, allowing the sauce to thicken slightly.

   Season with salt and pepper to taste.

4. Serving:

   Serve immediately as a side dish, dessert, or part of a main course.

 Tips:

 For a richer flavor, consider adding a small knob of butter to the skillet after stir-frying the pears.

 To balance the sweetness of the pears, you can add a pinch of red pepper flakes for a slight kick.
